Kace Allen Designs
A local and talented residential home designer, I met Kace years ago riding off-road motorcycles. I learned later about Kace's other talents. Awhile back, Kace mentioned that he was working on a logo for his LLC. I asked if he would like me to review it prior to using it. He welcomed the review and sent it to me. Kace's design was a good begining, but really needed a bit of polishing.

We wanted to make it personal and at the same time add some feature that let people know what kind of designs Kace did. Kace Allen Designs with no indication of what he designed just left folks confused and it would be likely they would not call as they would not want to waste their time if he designed fish nets. Though not totally unique, we gave the logo a roofline and floor to make it clear exactly what he did. We then used a font that was a handwriting font, but easily readable. To make it fit and look genuine, all of the letters are all positioned exactly as need to be get the desired results. The 'ace' portion of 'Kace' looked better a little higher than the 'llen' portion. They are all tightened up as well. 'Designs' looked best in a more standard letter font. For the riders out there, did you notice that the logo is KTM orange? Yep.

Kace was so happy with the logo that he asked me to build his website as well. Again, following our motto that simplier is better, we kept a simple header and added a black navigation bar down the left side. (We have been known to put revise the header to reflect current Oregon weather for fun!)
